Sailing by Lucy

While sailing spiritually does involve effort on our part, it is nothing like the effort of rowing your way toward change. What's more, we are privileged to experience the power of the Wind of the Spirit as it fills our sails and moves us to places we could never get to by direct effort. The following poem does a wonderful job of capturing that feeling of being carried along by the Spirit of God in ways that only He can accomplish.
