The Divine Conspiracy: Rediscovering Our Hidden Life In God

“A masterpiece and a wonder … the book I have been searching for all my life.” (Richard Foster)

This is perhaps the most important book about Christianity that has been written since Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis. A definite must for anyone who attempts to teach Christian Living in any context. Willard has successfully identified the most significant characteristics of Christian thought and practice today, and carefully analyzed their implications and the course corrections that we need.

While many people find Dallas’ writing difficult, it is well worth the effort. I personally found the text itself accessible enough, but I was so challenged by the concepts presented that I had to put the book down from time to time so I could digest what I was reading. Rarely do we get such depth in Christian literature that is so well reasoned and well presented, and so necessary for the modern church.
