See how great a love the Father has shown — that we should be called children of God! And not just in name only. We really are His children! And we do not quite know what it will look like when we are all grown up. But we do know this. That when we see Him we shall become like Him for we will then see Him clearly — just the way He is. And everyone who has this hope is already in the process of becoming more like Him, pure and clean in every way. (1Jn.3, paraphrase)
